Founded in 1922 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, Storm Mountain Lodge offers stunning views and a rustic charm. The dining room is situated along the wraparound windows in the lodge, not far from the lounge, which is warmed by a massive stove fireplace. The décor reflects our commitment to the history of the buildings and the area.
In the evening, guests
will experience delicious Canadian cuisine prepared with a
dedication to organic ingredients and naturally raised Alberta
meat and fish. Entrées include buffalo, wild salmon, rack
of lamb and free-range chicken. All of the breads, desserts
and breakfast pastries are baked on site.
The dining room has an extensive wine list drawn exclusively
from carefully selected Canadian vintages.
Guests can choose from
a lighter menu in the lounge or they can simply relax around
a roaring fire and enjoy a moment of kinship with the great
explorers of the Canadian Rockies who once passed this way.
All overnight guests can join us for a gourmet light breakfast of organic coffee,
specialty teas, fresh baked breads and pastries, lodge-made preserves, granola and muesli, fresh fruit and protein smoothies.
